The Hemisphere Cup
Competed for every 2 years and taking on a similar format to the Ryder Cup, the Hemisphere Cup pits the best, (well Nearly..) of both the Northern & Southern Hemispheres over 4 rounds in Matchplay Stableford format. Venues are mutually agreed on between the opposing captains and historically, have been played on neutral venues - Spain and USA.

The World Matchplay Championship
This Championship is played for over a number of years. The Championship consists of 2 divisions - North & South. Players are randomly drawn in each division and the competion is played under normal Matchplay conditions and rules. The winner from the North & South division then play off for the World Matchplay Champion trophy.
